This engagement session is a little bit different than normal, because the “engaged couple” has actually been married to each other for 14 years! Here’s a little bit of their story:
“We met 17 years ago, I knew at first sight that I would marry him. We were married on March 17,1997, but we didnt have a wedding… What we had could hardly have been called a marriage. By the spring of 2003 we were calling it quits and walking away when Jesus stepped in and changed everything. We had no idea of the road it would take to get here: to an AMAZING relationship and finally having our {re}wedding, and we couldn’t be happier to celebrate this with the people who have helped us get here. Our {Re}Wedding is a celebration of the lengths Jesus will go to save a marriage.” – Elizabeth
We shot their engagement pictures at the Preservation Station in 12th south. I felt like we could have stumbled on the door to Narnia in there! I couldn’t be more excited to be a part of their (re)wedding. Here’s to the next 14 years and many more after that!
Your story is truly inspiring! I feel so honored to be a part of your re-wedding in September.

What an original setting for a unique couple. I dont know if i like the knobs or the lock and key symbols better. God does work in mysterious ways..all we have to do is open our heart and mind to hear…continue in your journey with joy and hope surrounded in love.
Just finished looking at your photos…..beautiful. Praise the Lord!
