Katie and Joel have been dear friends for years. It was so wonderful to get to be a part of this amazing day. Their wedding was so personal, fun, and whimsical. I loved all the little DIY touches they added, like the bouquets and boutonnieres that were hand-made by the bride and groom, the CD they recorded to give to guests as favors, the vintage wedding dress that Katie’s mother wore for her wedding, the photo booth, and the purple shoes. Loved every second of it, and I’m excited to see what God does in your lives through your marriage! Love you both!
Before the Ceremony: Purple shoes, cute grandmas, and flowers hand-made by Katie and Joel!
This dress was Katie’s mom’s wedding dress. Katie had it altered and updated to wear for her wedding.
The Beautiful Ceremony at Cornerstone Presbyterian in Downtown Franklin, TN
The awesome reception at the Rutledge! They had a live band, food, drinks, dancing, and a photobooth. It was so much fun, and people were there dancing until Midnight. The band was amazing and so much fun, and the Rutledge was such a great and unique place for a wedding reception. All the DIY reception decorations were made by the lovely Leslie Stephens and Rion Cornell-Taylor
For favors, Katie and Joel recorded a CD of hymn tunes they had re-written. Such a great idea!
The cake, made by the Marche pastry team, was incredible.
Congrats you two! Your wedding was so beautiful, and so are you!
