There is something magical about the South: the large oak trees, sun-lit fields, warm summer nights, historic plantations, and sweet tea in mason jars. Jake and Sarah’s wedding captured all of those sweet things that I love about Tennessee. It was such an honor to photograph the wedding of these two lovely people. The whole day was perfect, right down to the little details- the centerpieces, bouquets, invitations, and cakes were all handmade by friends and family and the bride!
One of my favorite things about weddings is meeting all the closest people to the bride and groom. After the emails, meetings, and planning sessions leading up to the wedding, I finally get a chance to meet and see all the people who have walked with and loved the bride and groom for years. The hugs, glances, words of wisdom and tears exchanged are all moments that I will not soon forget. Thank you both for letting me share in the joy of your wedding day!
I feel so blessed to know you guys and I loved every second of your wedding! -K
We snuck out of the reception to do a few pictures at sunset.
Jake’s dad made all these beautiful cakes!
