Emily’s Bridal Session is featured on Borrowed & Bleu this morning! Check out the feature here or see my blog post here!

Thanks Borrowed and Bleu!
Education Reformer Michelle Rhee and NBA Pro turned Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson tied the knot this September in Knoxville, TN at Blackberry Farms. It was so secretive, that even the Mayor’s staff didn’t know. In fact, I didn’t even tell my husband where I was going or what I was doing when I went to shoot this wedding. The setting, the dress, the boat dock, the flowers… everything was perfect. Even the weather was sunny and warm, until Michelle started walking down the aisle. The skies opened up and rain poured down on the wedding party standing on the boat dock, but everyone maintained high spirits and it made for some gorgeous pictures!
(p.s. pinterest is fun, but please don’t pin the pictures from this wedding or use without permission. thanks- K)

Feature in the Sacramento Bee.

I recently partnered up with the creative geniuses of Charlie Peacock, Carly Ripp, and the Attwater team to help create these two images for the release of the group’s “Daydreaming” music video and their Christmas EP.
Attwater’s Christmas EP has been climbing the charts on itunes and is definitely a must for your Christmas listening traditions. A single from their Christmas EP is being featured and given away in the Country Music Issue of People Magazine (on stands now!). Find out more about this group and their awesome music at http://attwatermusic.com.

Here’s something new that we are now offering as an add-on to all portrait sessions: personalized and designed luxe cards! These are great for Christmas greetings, birth announcements, business cards, invitations, save-the-dates, and high school senior calling cards.
They come in nine unique shapes that are sure to be a conversation starter or treasured memory by family and friends. The paper options are oh-so-fabulous as well. (I love me some nice paper products). And best of all, you can get your portrait session and announcement/greeting card taken care of all at the same time!
I’ll work with you to make a design that is just your style!
50-100 cards= $3.50 per card (design included) and matching envelopes are 20c. each
100+ cards= $3.20 per card (design included)
