These are my sweet friends Richie and Amy. They just got married in May, but I can’t imagine them ever apart. They had a very small ceremony and never had official wedding pictures taken, so James and I joined them the other day for brunch and picture-taking around their beautiful home in Old Hickory. Their love for each other is so precious and inspiring and it was an honor to photograph them.
Here’s a look at the fun shoot I did with Sharon the other day. This gorgeous lady is a counselor, mother, television host, and teacher, and it was an honor to get to photograph her!
Thanks to Redo for the couch, Holly Chapman for Hair and Makeup, Alayna Max for Wardrobe and Styling, and Amy Smith for assisting.
I was so excited to do Ashley’s Senior pictures after she job-shadowed me last week. She is a sweet and talented girl with a heart for others and an eye for photography. She had some great location ideas and we had a great time exploring Franklin and dodging rain clouds. Excited to see what is in store for you! -K
This Spring has been SO gorgeous so far. The previous owners of our house planted all kinds of blooming goodness in our yard, and we’re having a blast seeing what sprouts up. The trees and tulips above and below are a few examples of the colorful blooming things! I also just celebrated a Spring birthday (yet another reason why Spring rocks).
I’d like to introduce you to my new favorite food group: Macaroon-Ice Cream Sandwiches.
This is an Orchid-Vanilla Ice Cream sandwich at Jeni’s. Gluten Free, Melt-in-your-mouth, Amazing. Happy Birthday to me. Their yummy shop is in East Nashville- check them out!
