It was so fun getting to do a shoot for Blom Guitars. Dan and Erik Blom are the geniuses behind this fabulous home-grown guitar repair shop based in Franklin, TN. Their new website is coming soon at www.Blomguitars.com.

Dan and his wife Cindy are super cute, so I had to get some couple shots too!

Katie and Joel have been dear friends for years. It was so wonderful to get to be a part of this amazing day. Their wedding was so personal, fun, and whimsical. I loved all the little DIY touches they added, like the bouquets and boutonnieres that were hand-made by the bride and groom, the CD they recorded to give to guests as favors, the vintage wedding dress that Katie’s mother wore for her wedding, the photo booth, and the purple shoes. Loved every second of it, and I’m excited to see what God does in your lives through your marriage! Love you both!

Before the Ceremony: Purple shoes, cute grandmas, and flowers hand-made by Katie and Joel!

This dress was Katie’s mom’s wedding dress. Katie had it altered and updated to wear for her wedding.

The awesome reception at the Rutledge! They had a live band, food, drinks, dancing, and a photobooth. It was so much fun, and people were there dancing until Midnight. The band was amazing and so much fun, and the Rutledge was such a great and unique place for a wedding reception. All the DIY reception decorations were made by the lovely Leslie Stephens and Rion Cornell-Taylor

For favors, Katie and Joel recorded a CD of hymn tunes they had re-written. Such a great idea!

The cake, made by the Marche pastry team, was incredible.

Congrats you two! Your wedding was so beautiful, and so are you!

I love my photog friends. Mary Lauren and I help each other out with weddings and shoots sometimes, but are also friends. We got together at twilight to get a few pictures of each other. She is a music major at Belmont, and has a Senior Recital coming up- so we got a few fun shots as the daylight dwindled.

She took some pictures of me too! Fun huh?

I love this family. A few months ago, I got to be a part of Brock’s Eagle Scout ceremony, and it was great getting to be with them all again for a family picture session. They’re all just so dang good lookin. And we definitely laughed a lot didn’t we?

Check out these cool kids. They’re the youth interns at Christ Community this summer. They’re getting worked hard- going on mission trips, camps, planning Yuck Wars (huge food fight), Nashville Shores trips, and much much more. They are real life saints. And you should be their friend.
